Husker in WI Posted April 26, 2022 Share Posted April 26, 2022 This sucks, but I get it - it's hard to keep 3 players who could be the libero at almost any other school in the country. Knuckles has a unique role as a back row attacker too, but Akana is overqualified as a defensive specialist. We just happen to have one of the handful of players better in the entire country at libero in Rodriguez. Quote Link to comment

I suppose it's possible they were considering not renewing her scholarship but that seems pretty odd for someone who was a significant contributor - played full back row most of the time, iirc.
