Big loss for Purdue

Purdue's top returning receiver from last season won't be a member of this year's team. Milton Wright, who caught 57 passes for 732 yards and seven touchdowns, has been ruled academically ineligible and is no longer with the program.

Adam McClintock gives his predictions for the upcoming season.

A sloppy ranking of the West gives us this:

Team Bowl 10Ws
Iowa 98.5 62.3
Wisconsin 98.1 50.3
Purdue 75.8 14.7
Nebraska 74.3 10.3
Minnesota 72.1 9.5
Illinois 42.7 3.7
NW 12.1 0.1

This puts Nebraska in a dogfight for the middle of the West, little chance to win the division behind Iowa and Wisconsin, but with a high likelihood to win enough games to go to a bowl.

Seems about right to me.

In schedule order. Better make the best of the first half of the season IMHO.
