Huskinator
I love how it says his one lone season at Kentucky…… he had his freshmen year at Nebraska and a covid weird year…… it’s not apples to apples. Whatever, go away, you don’t have to throw shade at Nebraska in your way out. 3 5 1 Quote Link to comment
gorp512
Do you think he would have gotten drafted as a wideout in the second round had he stayed? 2 1 Quote Link to comment

He went to KU and set all time school records for catches and yardage for a single season. Have to think that helped his draft position some. And with our running back woes last year it would not be hard to imagine him being used extensively as a running back again had he stayed. We'll never know for sure it looks like he made wise choice in transferring. I'm glad it worked out for him since he seemed like a good kid. 6 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post JJ Husker
Wandale was not the problem. He did what he had to do and it was the right thing. He’s not throwing shade, just being truthful. Maybe it will be a good lesson for Frost on how not to misuse your best players to plug holes of your own creation. 14 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Giants also reached for him, that said Staying at Nebraska would have more than likely had his stock lower. Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
So, if Mathis has a really good year and is a high draft pick, does Nebraska get 100% of the credit and TCU 0%? 1 2 2 1 Quote Link to comment

lo country
Wan'dale was completely misused as a RB at NU. He even said as much when he left. That he wouldn't play RB at the next level and NU wasn't going to showcase his talent. Having him be our "starting" RB his last year here was just another reason our RB room has stunk for the years after Oz. IMHO, had he stayed at NU, if drafted he'd have been far into the draft. UK showcased his ability. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Wandale would have been a 5th round pick if he stayed. Unfortunately we wanted him more at WR but our RB situation when he was here was abysmal. 3 Quote Link to comment
