Not to be a downer but they have a couple LBs committed and are in on some big targets. I don't think he's a take for them unless they whiff on several guys, and that would have been made clear on the visit. I like him, but this isn't beating Texas head to head or anything like that.

Just pointing out our take is Texas's plan C or D. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, they're always going to be around top 10 in recruiting and we will not. It's not a bad thing that we're getting a CB here, I just wish we were getting commits from guys who had committable offers at places like Texas.

And to be clear, despite being negative overall I like Rogers. More of a thumper than Henrich and Reimer - seems like all of our big hitters recently have been Safeties, be nice to get a few more enforcers at LB.
