nic
@IgniteTheSpark posted this from Twitter…. “TV markets no longer matter. In the sense that adding Rutgers secured carriage fees for 20M homes in NYC or whatever did in 2010, that is no longer a factor.” this clearly means we can get rid of Rutgers… Quote Link to comment
talaricohusker
Saw on an Oregon board that the big 12 extended offers to UO UW the AZ schools but not Colorado or Utah. Don’t know how much weight this is if true Quote Link to comment

Don’t know how much weight this is if true If that is true Arizona State has a lot of issues with their program rn don't know about Arizona and Colorado well they ditched the big 12 bc they thought the grass was greener in the pac 12. That isn't the case rn. Pac 12 is in the same boat as big 12. Both conferences have no weight. Quote Link to comment

teachercd
From another site California has a travel ban (ab1887) to not pay for state employees to travel to a number of states California considers hostile to LGBTQ rights. Iowa, Ohio and Indiana are on the list. While the state does not pay the travel expenses for state schools to travel to athletic events, UCLA has vowed to voluntarily avoid the offending states. UCLA Athletics spokesperson Josh Rupprecht said in an email (in 2017) that UCLA Athletics does not receive any state funding, but would not schedule future games in states that fail to meet the standards established by the new law. https://oag.ca.gov/ab1887 1 2 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm sure they take all kinds of money that doesn't agree with their principles right now from corporate sponsors, alumni and now NIL.....B1G would not sign them if they won't play in those states. Our record would sure improve. We can make an exception for Indiana tho 2 3 Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
NCAA has lost it's mind. The rivalries have lost all meaning. Should've stayed in the Big 12 and passed on the TV money. Is there a reliable place to watch Australian football? 3 Quote Link to comment
