As the Big Ten Media Days are just around the corner next week, we asked our 247Sports Big Ten team publishers for their votes for a preseason football poll.

 

Each of the publishers was asked to list their order of finish in the Big Ten Eastern and Western divisions, their Big Ten championship game pick and their top three for the conference offensive and defensive players of the year.

 

BIG TEN WESTERN DIVISION
1: Wisconsin, 12 first-place votes, 94 points

2: Iowa, 74 points

3: Minnesota, two first-place votes, 65 points

4: Purdue, 57 points

5: Nebraska, 56 points

6: Illinois, 28 points

7: Northwestern, 24 points
