I read that last line as Tickets as low as $0 (week 8) and I thought to myself that I probably couldn't be talked into going to that game even then

That sir, is a bold take.  I like it. I disagree, but I still like it.

I don't think it's all that bold. Iowa's offense is atrocious and while Wisconsin has a good running game their QB is atrocious. And I think both defenses will take a step back this year. But we'll see.

I just feel like we say that every year, like we say Nebraska has got to get better, right? And we all know how that movie plays out.  It's bold to pick it until we actually see it I think. Mertz started terribly but finished fairly solid in their last 6/7 games. Iowa's offense was horrible last year and they won 10 games anyway.  See what I mean?

McKewon voted Purdue higher than both Iowa and Wisconsin.  Seems like a great decision and like he knows a lot about football.

Purdue has a much easier crossover schedule than Iowa or Wisconsin

Purdue - Penn St, @ Maryland, @ Indiana

Iowa - @ Rutgers, Michigan, @ Ohio St

Wisconsin - @ Ohio St, @ Michigan St, Maryland

Len Dawson and Mike Alstott will be tough!

I was thinking Bob Griese.

Speaking of Griese, they always had to shoe-horn in how he was a Purdue alum when he would call Big Ten games for ABC/ESPN.  Plus, if he was ever calling a game for his son or Purdue, there was no way he was a neutral observer.

WHAT?!??!?  You mean his assertion that 1997 Michigan had done enough in the Rose Bowl (before the game was over) to be crowned the National Champion wasn't just an objective observation on his part????
