I agree. This is the least excited I have been for a Nebrasketball season in about 5 years

Since college hoops is my favorite sport, I am always excited for the season.  Maybe not as much as some years, but still excited.

Not much faith nationally that the Huskers will be good so hopefully we can fly a little under the radar and surprise a few people.

My only hope is they can actually play as a team and have a few guys who will do the dirty work.

CBS Sports is out with their B1G preview.  Huskers picked 13th.

Fourth-year coach Fred Hoiberg agreed to a restructured contract with a pay cut and reduced buyout. In other words, the heat is on after a 10-22 (4-16 Big Ten) season. Senior transfer guards Sam Griesel (North Dakota State) and Emmanuel Bandoumel (SMU) and experienced forward Juwan Gary (Alabama) look like solid transfer additions. If redshirt sophomore guard C.J. Wilcher can take on a larger scoring volume after averaging 8.1 points on 40.6% 3-point shooting last season, perhaps the Cornhuskers can show improvement. But will it be enough to buy Hoiberg another year?

Need to have a lot of money to get a buzz.

Which is why the argument that we are going to have a bunch of drunks causing problems at games because of the sale of alcohol is meaningless.  Facilities like this keep prices high for two reasons.  1). to make money. and 2). to help prevent binge drinking and problems.
