BoSolich
our defense isn't magically getting better cause frost is gone. the talent is really bad. our offense might put up 24-31 but OU will hang 49 easily. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

cornhuskers4ever
I'm pleasantly optomistic about this game. Coach Mickey Joseph knows the tradition and history of this rivalry. Looking at the radar, it looks like it could rain across Memorial Stadium and Lincoln till just about Kickoff. Perhaps the football gods are cleansing the field. At this point, Oklahoma is a bit of an unknown, I have read that their preseason ranking of #6 was rather generous. Notwithstanding, OU still has Sooner magic. its time to bring some of our own talent to override that. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

CheeseHusker
I wonder if Mickey showed the film of OU injuring him in 1990 on an endless loop and said "I WANT REVENGE." 1 Quote Link to comment

cornhuskers4ever
Cowardly action by Oklahoma in 1990. It wasn't just a late hit, they were aiming to take him out of the game, and look at the suspicious way the Sooner on the sidelines moved. Should have led to an ejection. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dansker
This game is going to come down to turnovers and field position. Two departments that we struggle in. There’s hope that maybe we come out with high energy and shock them. If that’s the case we could win 31-24. We need a few big breaks here and there. It is definitely possible. But our DL scares me. Our gap assignment scares me. If we play defense like we did in the first two weeks we’ll lose 45-21. 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Nebraska hosts Oklahoma for the first time in over a decade today. Frost is gone. Mickey Joseph is at the helm. Let's get weird. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
I don’t see how NU’s D all of a sudden becomes so much better in 3 practices. OU has a good offense, and NU lacks talent on D. NU may throw some different wrinkles on D, but eventually OU will adjust and score plenty of points. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
KCBuc
Did NU suddenly learn to block, tackle, and not do stupid things like pick up a partially blocked kicks? I bet against NU as long as Chin is a part of this team. I just hope for a good showing. I feel they will be boat raced and the whole MJ is the future conversation goes in the tank. (Hope I am wrong though). 3 1 Quote Link to comment
