It's beginning to feel like getting Frost back was just an excuse for all the former Husker greats and former big timers to get together and have a huge party and not do anything remotely responsible or mature. It feels like they got back to their 20 year high school reunion dinner and just all agreed to stay and hang out for 5 years.

Well, this program HAS been run like a high school for the better part of a decade so that's not a bad read in hindsight.

I'm of the mind that outside of Trev, who has proven so far at least to be a professional, get everyone from the 90s away from the program outside of the nice little promotional stuff. Thank them for their contributions, obviously we will always appreciate what they did back then, but the program needs a hard reset and this sort of stuff is only holding the program back.

It was on Facebook live, it was public by default.

Regarding other posts in this thread, I don't think anybody should be fired for this. If coaches don't want it to be public that you skip meetings, that you've given up on recruiting or anything else, simply don't skip meetings or don't give up on recruiting.

It's not like he's leaking anything crazy. What, Benhart is bad and this is a revelation? I do have eyes and it's obvious. Stating something easily discernable is not that scandalous. The guy has several plays each game where he doesn't even touch an opposing player.

Regarding the alleged comment about a cheerleader, which is difficult to hear and may not be true: if you don't want people to know about it DONT DRIVE AROUND ON A BOAT WITH COEDS AND THEN BRAG TO THE ASSOCIATE AD ABOUT IT. This is not difficult.

Some of you guys need thicker skin. Stai shouldn't be fired and more information should come to light about everything. Purge everybody associate with Frost from North Stadium and rebuild with somebody with a modicum of competence.

Stai should either coach the line or find another job.

This deserves repeating. They don't have a clue how to do their job unless their only responsibility is to extort money from boosters.

Frost was a way bigger butthole then Bo ever was.  At least he had accountability.

And these program-killing attributes were known by local media and Trev also had to know about this when he took over as AD. There is no reason these players should have had to endure an entire offseason and the start of the 5th season with so much dysfunction in place.  Had Trev made the right decision last year we would likely be 3-1 heading into the bye week and there be new reason for optimism.

Trev was starting to see these behaviors by Frost, but Frost was shielded by Osborne, much of the fan base, and a few big boosters who loved partying with Frost.  Yes, this season is a complete mess, but there are others who deserve the blame other than Trev.

Trev is the primary person to make the call about who should be leading these young men on the field. Frost should have been fired for integrity issues first and foremost.  Add in the poor record on the field and there is no reason this program and these players should have had to endure one more day of Frost's dereliction of duties.

Nebraska suffers from severe nepotism.  Enough with the whole "Nebraska" people or "Ex-Players" running the show.  Let's get some Professional full time staff and coaches, that can get this program pointed in the right direction.  I don't care where you grew up?  I don't care, where you went to school, or for whom you played.  Just hire the best qualified candidates, and let's see what happens.

Is he? He's apparently unplugged in Coeur d'Alene Idaho minding his business waiting for a 15 million dollar check to clear. While this meathead is telling some Facebook streamers that the former Emperor of the Plains boned an undergrad 48 hours into his tenure and kicking dirt on the student athletes that HE serves. He's not the messenger, he's a moron that is a bigger part of the problem than Frost.

That math just doesn't add up.

Maybe, I think that’s any easy choice absent in a vacuum. But it sounds like plenty of donors and a surprisingly high number of fans wanted Frost back. So if he fires him last year there is that group of fans that think he would’ve had a good season. This horrific start to the season for most of those fans on board of the fire Frost train (although I still see more than I’d think defending him). That being said I’m not sure which would have been the correct choice.
