RavHuskr
Guess after his drinking buddy got fired he decided to jump ship. Going to run NIL company 1890. https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/matt-davison-leaving-nebraska-to-launch-nil-collective/article_20759583-aad0-515e-8296-3113cd6cfa3f.html#tracking-source=home-sports 2 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Do we have Grant Winstrom's, Jason Peters' and Tom Osbourne's thoughts on this move? 1 4 2 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
This isn't surprising. I've never understood the hatred for him with some fans. He helped bring back the coach that 99% of the fans wanted. Then, almost instantly, fans didn't like him. 3 2 2 Quote Link to comment

Because Davison was part of the problem of why Frost wasn't successful at NU. They were more interested in partying at Gate 25 then they were about running a successful football program. 10 1 1 1 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
He'll remain on the football radio calls at least through the rest of the season, but to say this isn't a shock would be an understatement. Part of me wonders just what percentage this is his decision. 4 1 Quote Link to comment
1HuskerDad
That didn’t take long. A face saving move on his part to preserve his “legacy” and not join his buddy in getting his butt fired. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post cheekygeek
It may be difficult to find a replacement color commentator who can fully describe the play on radio with "YES!" 2 12 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I was not aware this was the plan. Had I just missed this? Quote ABM intends to cease operations at the end of 2022. It has been headed by Gerrod Lambrecht, the former Nebraska football chief of staff under former head coach Scott Frost. When Frost was dismissed Sept. 11, Davison said he at that point knew ABM “was going to wind down operations by the end of the year.” Quote Link to comment
Red Five
Just now, Mavric said: I was not aware this was the plan. Had I just missed this? That's the first official news of ABM shutting down. But as Matt says the writing was on the wall the day Frost was fired. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan99
Good riddance to man who was criminally under qualified for his position. Keep cleaning up Moos’ mess Trev, it’s a daunting task. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

Instead of Lambrecht being the Frost cronie running the NIL, it will be Peed and Davison left as the Frost running-buddies running this out of Lincoln. 1 Quote Link to comment
