Time to update the Frost high school WR/TE recruiting chart.  Wouldn't be surprised if I have to update this another time next week.

Only 4 of 18 WRs remain.  And only 1 of those 4 have ever played in a game (Betts).

Only 2 of 7 TEs remain at TE (2 moved to defense this spring).  The 2 remaining have played in 1 game.

Kind of wonder what could have happened to a lot of these kids both on the field and off had there been any leadership whatsoever.

Maybe some would have never even been recruited.  Never know.

I just look at lists like this and feel sorry for some of them.  I doubt any signed up for what it was.  Beat up used car.

The car salesman didn't have a shared vision or know how to develop a winning culture. Practices have to occur prior to games not during them. Proclaiming "This is Nebraska" and "I love these guys" and "I'll go to battle with so and so" while not adhering to standards that are expected of the team produced the results (or lack thereof) for far too long.

Eh, I said this months ago on this thread and got chewed out for it but I think this breakdown is a little too selective and not even cracks the top 5 of what frosty failed to do.  Sure, the HS recruiting needs to be better for wide outs but Wan'dale panned out just fine, we just misused him (because our RB room and run game was so atrocious and one of the groups frosty and staff really f'd up with).  The 2nd thing somewhat wrong with this breakdown is its based off the college football world from 5 + years ago- sure, ideally you want to hit on hs recruiting but the transfer portal adds an element not captured in this breakdown and we've largely done pretty damn well in this area in the WR room (Toure & palmer).

TLDR: Frosty f'd up the hs recruiting of wr and yes we should;ve had way more success stories- but it pales in comparison to the impact of having a s#!t o line, incoherent run game strat, and general piss poor execution by the team as a whole that played a much larger factor to this dark period of husker football.

The TLDR was TL.  DR.
