Tv people do speak about him but you would think there would be more exposure to him rn. I wonder during their next game if he will even get mentioned that he lead the NCAA in yards. He won't be leading in the receiving category by the next game he plays in but he should at the very least be mentioned as one of the big 10 best wr's. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
TonkaSker
My money says 5-6th round. Will be interesting to see how he matches up against Michigan and Iowa's DBs. Haven't seen him generate separation out of the press all year, which is fine. Not everyone needs to. Quote Link to comment

Yep, Trey will need to put up some good film against quality DB's. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
His size wont help him but I think his speed is certainly attractive to a lot. I thought this was a decent write up on him : https://www.profootballnetwork.com/trey-palmer-wr-nebraska-nfl-draft-scouting-report/ They say round 3/4. I think like others said it will be based on what else he puts on tape this year. If he thinks he is a 4/5 rounder, he might choose to stay one more year and work on a few things. Nothing says he couldnt easily get in the first 3 rounds with one more year of playing time as a #1 Wr Quote Link to comment
Vince R.
He's bigger than Stanley and faster. I really liked Stan but separation was his biggest issue. Trey can beat anyone, and so long as he makes the right reads, and Casey can get the ball out, he can get his 100+ a game going forward. If Nebraska could do a better job of spreading defenses out formation wise, I think he would put up more games like the Purdue one. 3 Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
Blocking is the only problem on offense. The defense lacks raw talent and lacks experience although they are getting more youth in games for the future. Im convinced if we had a good O line, a couple more DTs and one LB and one safety, we could be 7-0 with the coaching changes we have now, retroactive to Aug 1 2022. 1 Quote Link to comment

I think if you took this staff retroactive to 8/1 we would be sitting at 5-2 at worse 1 Quote Link to comment

Not sure where people are saying he didn't perform against Oklahoma? He had 10 receptions for 92 yards (almost 1/3 of our yards) and he was open on several other plays where he should have been thrown to had CT not been assaulted constantly. His worst game of the year was against Rutgers - 4 receptions for 64 yards. Again, he was open a lot but CT just couldn't get the ball to him. His pace will likely slow over the next 5 games but that will have a lot more to do with CT being pressured non stop than it will be about him being open. This and he would have had about a 75-80 yarder had CT thrown the ball in the 2nd quarter. Quote Link to comment
Born N Bled Red
Highest graded receiver in power 5. He leads the nation in receiving yards, but didn't get a sniff for mid-season all American team. 1 Quote Link to comment
