Yes. Anyone that successfully runs the ball and plays defense copied Nebraska. No team ever understood that having good offense and good defense could work until Nebraska broke the mold. Just a bunch of silly Nannies running around like idiots until Nebraska showed the world how to be good at football. And every team that can run the ball is just a straight up rip off of Husker football.  We should be getting royalty checks weekly.

You're try at sarcasm is somewhat lacking. Do better

If you don't think that Alavarez built Wisky to be like NU I got nothing for you. Not sure if you are serious.

This !!! Nebraska didn't invent the run game or defense.

Mickey inherited this mess.  By no means is Mickey not accountable for some of this, but overall, this is on the program right now more than the coaching staff overall.  Realistically we may never know if Mickey is HC material.  What we do know if that Mickey can recruit better athletes than what we have right now.  Whipple is awful.  I don't know if Raiola is any better, but Mickey is the least of this teams issues right now.

I wasn’t sure about him, but he’s doing a lot of good things at K-State.

Look at his record at NDSU before KSU.  TBH, I am thinking the same thing.  He knows physical, smash mouth football.  And seems to have done well at KSU (hate to admit 7-8 wins/season look good).  Develops the players and they are physical.

This is mickey’s worst game…yes worse than Oklahoma. At least that was his first game…this game looks like they spent two weeks holding hands and singing combaiah…doing the same exact thing and expecting different results. Put smothers for the love of god.

This is why when folks are quick to give him the HC job I just shake my head and laugh.

TBH, say MJ stays.  The rest of the staff would be let go.  Maybe keep BB as a position coach/ST coach.  They are horrible.  D staff is complete trash.

Yeah he was very impressive at NDSU and has done very well at K-State. His team also doesn’t fold when forced to go to their backup QB.
