I agree with your sentiment.

 

But their offense hasn't exactly been a juggernaut.  They were #91 in total offense this year.  #88 last year.  They were #78 in scoring offense this year.  #84 last year.

 

It seems likely that their offense will be better going forward.

With strong hires with Rhule & Fickell, it's like Nebraska and Wisconsin were looking at Purdue, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa.... and thinking "ok, enough is enough from you guys"

It's kind of the same about Michigan taking Ohio State down a peg or two.
