lo country
I had to dig deep to find some stuff, but he appears to be a huge fan of the running game. Did good at W&M, was Penn St recruiting coordinator.... Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
I am not going to act like this is a good hire or not. I do like that he's young and black, which I think helps on the recruiting trail. 4 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
From what I have read this appears to be an upgrade for us. I liked Applewhite too. Quote Link to comment

Yep…I liked Applewhite. But, our program is such a s#!t show that upgrades can be had everywhere and fans can’t be upset if someone isn’t kept. 1 Quote Link to comment
MKO
I don't know anything about him and this may be a little cherry picked, but UConn's rushing offense appeared to go from 122nd in 2021 to 38th in 2022. https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/rushing-yards-per-game?date=2022-12-02 1 Quote Link to comment

While I think Mickey has a lot to offer the program we can’t be held hostage by ridiculous demands of a 1.5 M assistant coach salary. I’m sorry he did a commendable job but he does not deserve that. Even after MJ took over we lost games we should have won due to poor coaching decisions. I like MJ,I like Busch as well, but this is Rhules team now and he needs free rein. If that means losing players in the short term so be it. 1 1 5 Quote Link to comment

Popular Post Lunchbucket
One rhythm Barthel learned under Rhule at Temple is showing daily video clips of his players making “violent effort” plays that lead to wins and “loafing” ones that don’t. “It created a culture of no hiding so every day you as a player were so terrified to be on that lion-and-sheep tape,” Barthel said I like it. Daily accountability and showing the picture of what is needed 6 1 3 1 Quote Link to comment
LennynSquiggy
I hope Rhule does that here. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
I like that. “Lion and sheep” tape. Get the dead weight off the field and coach them up to be better and get back on it. 2 Quote Link to comment
