Farms
We are really thin along the lines this spring, can't afford any injuries here. 1 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Word is Benhart looks noticably thinner and more in shape. He was listed as 330 pounds on the roster from two years ago. Now listed at 315. 1 Quote Link to comment

admo
Dang. Sometimes you wonder if his body too big to play this sport - esp the physical grind as an o-lineman. Quote Link to comment

Rob Zatechka has said that he worries Prochazka is too tall to stay healthy as an o-lineman or football player. Playing o-line puts too much stress on the long, levers of his body. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I think it's a stretch to compare NFL lineman to a kid who's played 2.5 games at Nebraska. Sure there are examples but they are the exception athletically. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I realize that NFL offensive linemen are getting taller and bigger, however those are all grown men, who have had years to develop their bodies and get a solid base for their height. Prochazka was thrusted into the starting line-up as a true freshman, and wasn't where he needed to be physically and strength wise. His body is more susceptible to "break" given his height and lack of girth. Minnesota has had taller offensive linemen, but they have also been huge physically (350 lbs plus). Prochazka is 6'10" and only 320 lbs. 2 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
So we only have 14 OL this spring. And one of those is Teddy (who I assume will be limited all spring). This spring game is going to be interesting with 3 health interior DL and 13 healthy OL (assuming everyone else makes it through the spring). 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Pedro G
No mention of fullback. I know there is walk-on transfer from UNK, Trevor Ruth. What about hybrid TE, Janiran Bonner? Could he play some there? He would be a legit running threat. Quote Link to comment
