Agree. But, it's still a part of the sport that shouldn't be like that.

I see what you're saying, but it's not a big deal. They got lucky with their scheduling (it happens, in 2013 we didn't travel more than 8 hours until November 18th with 6 of our first 8 games at home). Miami to Tallahassee is an 8 hour drive. In terms of travel, if our schedule had Maryland as a home game or had it swapped with Northwestern or Iowa, it'd be the same idea. Florida's really big and has lots of D1 schools close by.
 
Never want to see a player injured.

But perhaps he can get a fill-in gig as a stunt double for Dark Helmet in Spaceballs 2. Holy crap.
