Rhule is a program builder. He has yet to really get over the hump with a team besides getting Baylor to a major bowl in 2019. Penn State needs a win now coach, who can win the big ones. He has not proven to do that at this stage in his career. I see them looking elsewhere.

Having your HC be mentioned in a story like this is a positive sign. That being said..I don’t think Penn State wants Rhule yet. Maybe if he won 10-11 games maybe. But Rhule is still totally mediocre against top 25 teams. I doubt Penn State hires him until he proves a lot more.
