101 Husker Things To Be Thankful For

There have been good times...and bad times this season. But never doubt that there are plenty of things for Husker fans to be thankful for.
Here's a list of some to consider this holiday season. You can even add your own!
1. Even with the "west Coast" offense, Nebraska knows how to run the ball
2. The eyes of a young fan at his first Husker game.
3. Lil' Red standing on his head.
4. The tunnel walk still sends chills down your spine
5. The sea of red is even redder than before.
6. You had a giggle when you heard Callahan's "hillbillies" comment
7. Callahan wouldn't back down from his "hillbillies" comment
8. Next year the Sooners have to come to our house
9. Fans who stand and applaud opponents, win or lose
10. Frank Solich still keeps his dignity and class even today
11. Watching the Huskers on television
12. The highest athlete graduation rate in the Big XII.
13. "Not the victory, but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory"
14. You know how to say Evwaraye
15. Harrison Beck is coming soon
16. The Cornhusker marching band's walk to the stadium.
17. Finally learning the words to "Hail Varsity."
18. You can still enjoy a Husker game on the day after Thanksgiving
19. Walking down "O" street on Saturday morning with hundreds of others.
20. Getting your picture taken with the bronze statue in front of the stadium.
21. The Kansas victory streak is still alive

25. Even in our worst times, we had a late season chance at the Division title

34. Husker Power keeps turning out better, faster, stronger players.

38. Players who followed their brother/father to Nebraska.
39. Shouting "Ruuuuuuuuuuud" quite a lot this season
40. Bob Brown's number 64 will be retired. Only the second such honor ever

42. Young I-Backs Tierre Green, and Brandon Jackson look very exciting.
43. Sixty-thousand fans for the spring game

46. 21 seniors will play their last game this week
