When is this game being played? If it's 1971, the Huskers in a landslide of epic proportions, as most of the 85 Bears are still in grade school, junior high at best. Any time from 85 on the Bears, a bunch of mid to late 20 year olds beating up on late 30s early 40s is not a fair game.

 
What the hell is a Chicago bear? That's like saying the Los Angeles Lakers got their name from the abundance of lakes in the LA metro area.

You can't think of these hypothetical games that way. Instead, pretend we own a time machine that allows us to transport the entire '71 Nebraska team and '85 Bears team to 2012. Each group of players will be at the peak of their championship ways. Furthermore, you have to assume they'll wear current regulation gear and all those other nifty modern things.

This way, the only factors you're considering are the teams' execution levels and who is better than who when as many factors as possible are fair.

On a side note, cut Nebraska Option some slack, I guess the guy is like 15 years old.
