1997 Championship ring on ebay

I don't know, I think it would be pretty cool to have a championship ring. I'm obviously never going to "earn" one by being on the team, and this is the next best thing. $2500 might be more than I want to pay, but it would be cool to have one......

Guys, I'm sure the person who put that ring on Ebay does not want to sell it, and cherishes it just like all of us would.

It is the worst economy in many decades - I'm sure putting food on the table and paying bills comes before football mementos.

I've read stories in past years of superbowl rings being pawned and sold also. Some people's lives take a turn into hard times. Sometimes sh#t just happens(or doesn't). I can relate.

And that's a damn shame, perhaps whoever buys it would have the decency to return it to it's owner.

The original owner,Dale Lloyd, was strength/conditioning coach for Nebraska.

I've seen numerous NU championship rings on there over the past few years. 1994, 1995, 1997, Big 8 Championship rings, Bowl rings, etc. My wife knows that one day I will buy one of these rings since, to me anyways, it's the ultimate NU item to own if you get the chance. If I run into some extra money it'll be at the top of my list. I think the 1997 ring would be the one to want since it was T.O.'s last season. The 1995 ring is cool as hell though................ :thumbs
