2 Husker Prospects on TV Tonight

BigWillie

All-Conference
Both Devin Johnson and Devin Ross will be in action tonite on Fox Sports Net West. Their Rancho Cucamonga squad will take on Centennial HS at 10PM EST/9PM EST.

I'm not aware of any other prospects playing, but their very well could be.

Check it out, and you never know, you may see some red clad fans in the stands! ;)

Geez, if anyone is watching this you can already see a future stud in the making.

Ryan Bass, the RB for Centennial already has over 120 yards on 5 carries and 2 TD's barely 6 minutes into the game. Mind you he's doing this on two stud defenders in Devin Jonhson and Devin Ross.

The guy plays RB/CB and isn't even starting yet, but is absolutely tearing it up. He's not undersized either at 5'10 and 185lbs., but is only a sophmore.

Keep an eye on that guy for the future.

WOW!

Ryan Bass broke a 85 yarder for ANOTHER TD and we still have 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Over 200 yards and 3 TD's in the first half alone? GEEZ!

Totals so far - 13 carries for 224 yards, 3 TD's

Also, he outran Devin Ross into the end zone, not to mention Ross has gotten beat deep once already. Besides that, they haven't thrown much to Ross' side.

----------

Err....nevermind. You can make that 4 TD's. :o

I don't believe he is even on the radar for any team yet.

Bass was the backup on this squad to begin the year and only recently began to start. Plus, the guy is only a sophmore. He's got a long ways to go.

Can you say 5 TD's and 324 yards on 26 carries? This is just barely into the 3rd quarter and he already has these numbers.

This sophmore is making Ross and Johnson look absolutely STUPID.

If he isn't on teams radar, he is sure as heck making an impression on TV right now. I'm amazed as well.

34 rushes, 373 yards and 6 TD's now.

I've never seen a sophmore single handidly dominate a game like this.

Devin Ross and Devin Johnson haven't even been mentioned in this game. Beside Johnson coming in at fullback and dropping a pass in the end zone, that has been in.

This is the Ryan Bass show, and it's a jaw dropping performance.

OMFG. Are you sure you arent just playing some kind of video game... ? <_<

Arteze Spicer, former Nebraska recruit Averell Spicer's younger brother just returned a kick 73 yards for a TD to bring Rancho Cucamonga within 2 points late in the 4th quarter.

And Blackshirt, it would make a ton of sense more if I were. But check out the box score on this game from an online newspaper after it is over and see.

Bass is up near 400 yards, but they haven't shown his exact stats in a while.

Last bit of the game, Devin Johnson has stepped up and garnered two TFL on Ryan Bass. He seems to be wearing down and rightfully so. After 40+ carries by a sophmore, he should be dead on his feet.

Centennial hangs on to win a 49-47 shootout though.

Final stats for Ryan Bass -- 396 rushing yards, 6 TD's on 42 carries, IIRC.

Amazing performance by just a sophmore. I'm sure we will all be seeing and hearing alot about him in the future.
