You may note that most of the available answers are for a 14 game season. This of course, assumes that we go to the big twelve championship and a bowl game. If you do not believe we will make the championship or a bowl game, it's a pretty safe bet that you would land in the 9 wins or less category.

14-0  No but really I think it depends on who we play in like the Big XII Championship and the Bowl Game... if we play Texas for a second time in a year that could be tough depending on how the game goes in the regular season, also someone like Texas Tech would be tough because of their passing attack and our corners. Then the Bowl Game who knows who we could possibly play  I went with 11-3

11-3. I think that we will win some games that we are underdogs in (i.e. USC and/or Texas), and lose some games that we are favored to win (mostly any road game to Texas A&M, Okie State and/or ISU). However, it will be a great year. Our program will finally regain respect and the BC naysayers will be put to rest.

I voted for 12-2 simply because USC, Texas (possibly twice) and a tough environment at A&M will probably produce one loss. Trust me I'm hoping for a sweep too, but at the same time trying to be realistic. IMO, the most important game will be USC. If we can win that one, the confidence level will be so high. If we lose, then maybe the Texas game will be a "must win" to continue with the goals set out.

I voted for 12-2. We lose once against USC, Texas, ATM, or ISU. Then we go to the Big XII Championship game and either win (thus losing in the BCS game) or lose (thus winning the bowl game).

Huzzah! At least one person predicts a championship!

I am teetering back and forth between a 12-2 season or an 11-3 season. I think we'll make it to the Big XII championship and a bowl game, but we'll drop at least 1 of the big games (USC, Texas, Big 12 championship) and probably one of the smaller games like A&M, Oklahoma St., or Iowa State. For some reason I have confidence that we will win our bowl game this year though.

I went with 11-3. Somehow I just know that 3 games will get away from us this year. I also see one of them to be unexpected.

I voted 12-2, but if they beat USC that could give them a huge confidence level, and they could about go undefeated, with a fairly easy schedule, except for Texas, and maybe A and M. Texas might not be that hard if they don't get a good quarterback in though.

ok,i went with a reality check...hope i am wrong..10-4 with a bowl game victory.

and i would still be proud of the guys with that record......especially if we show up big in a bowl game.......my rational is we are gonna take some hits in the defensive secondary, until the new guys get about 5-6 games under their belts...

this team may well be even better next year, provided we can get a qb to gel over the next 16 months....future looks bright to me.......10-4 with our schedule, would definitely be a great year, no matter what anyone sez........... :clap

As good as this team is, I think we're still in the improving process and will have some issues with inconsistency this season. I think we'll start off strong, stumble against USC, and have some midseason difficulties before bouncing back to close - hopefully. I think a fair estimate would be 9-3 heading into the conference championship, with the other two losses coming against Texas and perhaps Iowa State, A&M, or Colorado - one of those three. I threw Colorado on the list just because back in the '97-'00 years, it was a hair-raising affair regardless of Colorado's skill level and rank.

After that, I think we'll be able to pull off a win in the conference championship game against Texas (probably), and all bets are off if we get into a BCS game. If we do, well, I can't tell if I think we win or if I'm just hoping.

Well I voted for the 10, but now that I think about it, im going to be realistic and say 9-3
