2006

Roy CO HSKR

Five-Star Recruit
Koch RG

Ross IB

Smith DT

Adams DT

Ickes SAM (starter injured)

Tiedtke FS

Bullocks SS

Wali Muhammed was a backup (when suspended).

Eric The Red: That should leave 7 returning starters on defense, 9 on offense and we lose the punter. So, if we get a safety, CB and a punter we'll be in good shape. What BC has done so well is to bring good depth to most positions. Obviously, the offensive tackles are a work in progresss, but how valuable was the CU game and this month's experience?!

I think Barry Turner could well be a desiganted blitzer, in additon to the 4 down DTs. Did anyone else notice the ineptness of Grixby at CB? He reminded me of his play in the OU game.

Grixby gets abused by taller receivers. He has all year long. He gives 100% I'm not doubting that. Just undersized with todays tall WR s.

I don't think we beat USC or UT (although, if VY leaves for the NFL, it could be interesting...).

That sad, all our remaining games are definately winnable, which would put us in the Big 12 Championship game.

The goal for the 2006 season should be B-C-S!!!!!!!

Who knows what will happen next year, but I know this team will come to play. No matter who is on the other side of the field.

First - I'm still basking in the wonderful victory over UM. It was one of the most exciting and satisfying games in the 21st Century.

Second - I suspect I'm not the only NU fan that hates to see the season come to an end. Next year could very well be even more exciting.

Will have to wait 4 months to the Spring Game and 8 months until the 2006 season starts. It will be REALLY hard put this NU Football Program out of my mind till then.

:yeah I would have to agree I really can't wait until next year. I think with Reggie Bush leaving (most likely) and Matt Leinart leaving, USC is beatable. They have won for so long the streak has to come to an end sometime. What better time than against The Big Red! I think next year we will have a better team than we do now and they will know the offense even better. IMO I think we can give them a run for their money. GBR Also I think we can take Texas. :hookerhorns

The absence of a proven RB concern me. Marion has great potential, but judging by his lack of playing time tells me that he never proved to the coaches that he was anywhere close to Cory. I was hoping that Lucky would be getting more and more carries as the season went on, but that didn't happen.

Suspect that our O-line will have to be superb for NU to have just an average rushing attack.

Am already thinking / anticipating next year!

Lucky and Glenn will do fine next year. They have not been in a game long enough this year to get into the groove that each of them say they need. Its not because they couldnt handle the situation but because Ross was the man and callahan rewarded him for being such a leader.

the CU game, the month of practices, and the UM game will be great for our depth and experience for the OL.

We only lose Koch on the OL from the starting line up since KSU game. We will get Herian back (hopefully) and with the Picou's, Pasture, Roark and the incoming commits i think that the line depth will be fine. definitely better then this year.
