2007 Offense with 2009 Defense

Hey I'm pretty new to posting on here. I was wondering how you guys would think a season like this coming would turn out if we had the 2007 offense and last years defense together.

I really think we would absolutley annihilate anyone in our path with those squads on the team.

Your thoughts?

 
Idk our 07 wasn't THAT spectacular in my opinion, I'd say our offense in 08 was better or the 06 offense was good too.

 
Yeah we would have done better but with our 08 offense I think we would have won the National Championship.

Hell, if we had even one of the top players from 08, we would've challenged for the title.

Castille? I think he could've handled the 4pts & 3 losses.

Ganz, Swift, Peterson? and we might've won the TT game.

 
Did I miss something? When did this offense score against any good defense? Lets look at 2 games in 2007 Okie State (Home coming) 0-38 quite the offense. Missou 6-41 now if this is the offense that were looking for then were already there. :facepalm:

Yeah, but look at all those garbage points/yards we got when we were hopelessly out of the game! :lol: See, there's good points about getting blown out all year long.....our offensive stats get a big push!

The offense didn't really start taking off in '07 until Ganz took the reins and put up something like 1500 yards in 2+ games played. They also dropped 76 points on K-State a week after giving up 70 to Kansas, and then 51 against Colorado. Hell we have Ganz last year and I find it hard to find a game we lose.

 
The '07 D was really rolling at the end but they had a big midseason lull. The '08 O was pretty consistent, only really struggled against Mizzou.
