What will happen in the College Football World in 2012? Let's throw some predictions out there.

Here's a list from Andy Staples.

1. The campaign for a playoff system gains strength

2. No more AQ's

3. LSU will make the National Championship

4. West Virginia will play in the Big XII despite pending law suits

5. Southern California will win the Pac-12

6. The Heisman Winner will be someone we don't expect

7. Texas will return to a power-running game and do well.

8. Missouri will compete for the SEC East

9. The ACC CG will be Nationally Relevant for the first time

10. Ohio State will wish it had banned itself from a Bowl in 2011 (implies they'll be really good next year)

My random ones

1. TCU will struggle in its first year in the Big XII

2. Michigan will win the Big Ten

3. Texas A&M will absolutely suck in the SEC

4. In accordance with prophecy we will all die horrible deaths and miss roughly half of the Bowl Season. Because of this the SEC will not win the NC for the first time in a long time.

Notre Dame wins the National Championship!!

Holtz will splitz about 1/2 gallon per night

1. Much bitching and moaning, but still no plan for playoffs.

2. Bobby Bowden will become the winningest coach in CF history.

3. The Longhorns will fill their recruiting class by April Fools Day.

4. Three SEC teams will undergo new ncaa investigations.

5. The Pac-12 will offer to trade CU to the B1G for a keg of beer and a dozen brats.

6. Urban Meyer will be outed as a metrosexual. As if we it isn’t obvious already.

7. Nebraska fans will spend the entire off-season debating whether 9-3 and a bowl win is a good season or not.

8. Joe Paterno will try to get back into coaching to get back those vacated wins.

9. Kansas will still lose.

10. Mich State will beat Boise by three TDs on national TV. And we won’t have to listen to Boise fans bitching and moaning all season long.
