I've banned him 37 times. It just doesn't seem to take...Dude always starts trouble. He's not from a small townIt's off-topic in that thread, and Matty wanted it to stay on topic, so I moved everything. Don't take that as "The Dude started trouble" because that's not where that's going.
I don't see how staying another year would have helped him at all. He was a top 10 pick based on his talent and then it came out that he was trying to remake How High while he was at NU.So if you're Gregory, do you start wishing you stayed another year or was this bound to happen because of this "big secret"?
Do you really believe that's the reason? Not saying your wrong, but Ray was arrested MONDAY and drafted tonight...I don't see how staying another year would have helped him at all. There could be something else, but RG is thought of as the biggest pot smoker in recent draft history. That's going to hurt his draft spot. But, no he doesn't regret coming out for the draft. He was always going to be a short-timer at NU.Do you really believe that's the reason? Ok, I wasn't aware they were comparing him to cheech and chong... I listen to Dallas sports radio and they were discussing drafting Gregory. Every time they brought him up, they made a joke about RG trying to set the world record for pot smoking. It was so bad that Bo and his staff couldn't test him because they knew he was going to fail it.Ok, I wasn't aware they were comparing him to cheech and chong... Based on what evidence? Texas folk aren't exactly known for their neutrality towards Nebraska either.I listen to Dallas sports radio and they were discussing drafting Gregory. Curious with all the sexual assault/domestic abuse (etc...) talk in the NFL...if something in his past happened that are along those lines and felt the need to come clean about his history...?It wasn't the pot. He disclosed something in those interviews that dropped him off the first round.
By Gregory's own admission he told NFL teams things that he had never even told his family, in order to establish transparency so that future revelations wouldn't be held against him.Unless Gregory has an imbecile for an agent, I find it somewhat hard to believe he revealed too much in the interview process. Isn't this the agent's job to coach their clients on what to say and when? I mean they do want their client to get drafted as high as possible. I just don't buy the "big secret" conspiracy.
