They are predicting the Huskers having 3 total losses prior to bowl season;

Ohio State, Minnesota and then in the B1G championship game against Michigan.

Am I missing somthing? I don't understand why all these writers are so high on Tennessee. They were better last year, but the wern't great.

I would argue that while some Husker fans may have the right to hold the delusional title, I think a majority of the Husker fans are well grounded but have high hopes for a return of respect, in CFB.

I'd guess that it's a combination of the improvement coupled with recruiting - I haven't checked, but I seem to recall that they've had Top 10 classes the last couple of years. Those kids will be stepping into starting roles this year, most likely.
