This is perhaps the first time that Creighton is ranked higher than Nebraska. I kinda think it happened a few years ago but I can't track it down.

EDIT - there it is, straight from Creighton's SID.  This is the first time Creighton has been ranked ahead of Nebraska.

I don't get this. Creighton is 7-2 with losses to #18 USC and #15 Purdue.

Nebraska is 7-2 with losses to #11 Oregon and #3 Florida.

But Creighton is still ranked ahead of Nebraska, despite losing this weekend to Purdue, while Nebraska ran #13 UCLA out of the gym not once, but twice.  How is that possible?

Creighton does have wins at #7 Washington and swept at # 9 Kansas as well.

They'll come back down to earth soon enough. And if Hunter stays healthy, we'll climb back to our normal top five spot.

Huskers drop to #14 in the poll after losing to UNI over the weekend, and beating two lackluster opponents (UNO & Kansas State).

Only silver lining - Creighton has fallen below Nebraska in the poll.

As it should be.

After sweeping previously unbeaten Penn State at their house, the Huskers jump back into the Top Ten. Up from #14 to #8.

The Big Ten has seven teams in the Top 25, including four of the top eight.
