Better than nothing. Not sure he is any better than TJ
Would be nice, but appears that the ship has sailed. That said, Chiles does have a lot of upside as a relatively cheap one year rental. With a lack of options, I'd be pleased if we could land him.I'd rather have Raiola back with an improved offensive line.

Sounds like thats not going to happen as there was some bridges broke when he left.I'd rather have Raiola back with an improved offensive line.
Is he really an improvement over Lateef? Otherwise, he's just an emergency quarterback. I'd rather give Lateef the job, with upcoming spring ball and summer camp under his belt.

Chiles had an arguably worse line to play behind and didn't have an All-American RB to handoff to last year. TJ had that and looked good against theIs he really an improvement over Lateef? Chiles had an arguably worse line to play behind and didn't have an All-American RB to handoff to last year. TJ had that and looked good against thejunior highUCLA defense, but pretty bad against top 100 defenses. FWIW, Chiles did go for three passing TDs and a rushing TD against USC.
Not that any of that is proof that he is better, but with the low cost/low risk factor, I would be happy if we can snag him.
