And called several questionable 3rd strikes called as balls. It happens with every ump. The ump last night liked the high strikes, as well as outside vs. Inside corner.
 
I'm expecting another losing weekend. We will win Friday and lose the next two. Pitching is that bad and Iowa can hit. On top of that, let's be honest, we are after all a University of Nebraska Men's program team so it's expected of us to lie down and quit. Gotta keep the stereotype going. What's that old cliche, You're only as good as your last game? (something like that) From a fed up Husker fan, Go Iowa!!

Haha... We'll see this weekend both how this team is nothing more than a paper tiger and how disappointed the fanbase is. Nobody wants to support a group of prima donnas especially while the lackluster performing men's department continues begging for added donations. This team quit on it's fanbase last weekend. It f'n laid down and quit. 0-3.. They Laid Down, Put their Tails between their Legs and Sucked on Their thumbs. 0 & 3. swept by a below .500 club while in the midst of a regional host bid. Losers Lose and Quitters Quit. 0 f'n and 3 whom in their right mind wants to support that kind of quitters mentality? 0 & 3 last week, 1 & 2 vs Iowa and 1 & 3 to close the season out vs Creighton & Minny. 2 & 9 to close!

That’s a full meltdown over one weekend. If Iowa fans put this much energy into baseball, you might actually have a program. It been 36 years since Iowa has won even a conference championship... woof.

There's two games remaining and even the announcers were saying on the broadcast quote "come on down fans, there's plenty of game left"... The fanbase is tired of Mediocrity & Subpar Effort.. The Men's athletics at Nebraska are nothing more than a letdown. They've accomplished nothing of relevance in what now, 25 years? There are mid-major programs that are more relevant then DONU!!! The players, as they always do at this University, pissed a regional host down their legs and threw sh!t in the fans face at tOSU. Paper Dragons at best that don't deserve the ranking. The leader of that team should have been all over the post game (or midweek presser) apologizing and promising that won't happen again. Instead, no apology, no promise of actually fighting to the end, simply nothing. Much like the way they play, empty, without heart and absolute lack of commitment to contending for a championship on any type in Male Sport.
 
No Crickets.. Work, unlike all you teachers sitting behind a desk ignoring your students and screaming about not paid enough, I work. I also laugh at husker fans reaction to any opinions that are less than favorable. Now let's look at the last two weekends.

Michigan State goes into tOSU ball park and takes the middle game. They gave up 21 runs in total. Nebraska goes into tOSU ballpark, gets swept and gives up 19 runs.

Iowa the week before plays Illinois winning the first 2 games. They gave up 14 runs. Iowa travels to Nebraska and are swept (wow, HUGE sweep of a below .500 in-conference opponent) and Nebraska is able to score what 25 runs? So in the comparison of a paper tiger vs 2 below .500 in-conference opponents there is barely any improvement between the paper tiger and the 3 teams mentioned (MSU, tOSU & Iowa). If this was a national forum the majority would agree with the "paper tiger" analogy of DONU. Still, and with honesty, I guess when you have nothing to boast about you have to boast about the tiny victories. Husker fans are great "tiny victory" boasters. This team threw away any and every possible chance at hosting. Likely won't be near a top 2 seed and when they lose to Creighton and the series to Minnesota they will realize they are at best a bubble team. The pitching is atrocious more often then not. They don't have a consistent clean up hitter. There's not a single bat in the lineup that concerns any opponent and they've proven they can't hit off speed pitches. They won't get out of a regional and will be lucky to even win 1 game. Show me, I dare any of you, where Nebraska's numbers equal the ranking and Jasa is a Sunday starter on most top 20 teams, especially Southeastern and SBC Conference teams. UCLA, Oregon and likely Washington are better. Purdue is likely better too. Time will tell. These paper tigers will go 1 & 2 in the conference tourney and at best 1 & 2 in the regionals but hey, do what husker fans do and keep boasting on the tiny victories. Just stop whining every time you lose.
