25 below zero last night!

I live at 10,578 feet up in the rockies and last night was brutal! I'm very use to frigid weather but last night was too much. I know it will be cold in KC but nothing like here. I tried to play catch with my neighbor for giggles last night and every caught pass felt like someone was smashing your fingers with a hammer. Just an interesting observation about football in cold weather.

 
I just experienced that for the last week! :steam

It was about -20 (F) average, only today it warmed up to 25. Subzero temperatures are not fun, especially when it's still fall. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the winter here. At least for the next 10 days, the mercury appears to be above 0 (according to The Weather Channel).

 
:yeah I'm going to tell my wife that when she's complaining Saturday that her hands are cold............."Stick them down my pants!!!!" It's going to be like 9 degrees here tonight with a windchill of -10........
