As long as we are 4-1 after sat., we are right on track as I had us projected. Yeah the defense is down but the offense is up, passing anyway, so lets beat ISU and move on to Mis-sour-i, I think we lose 2 more the rest of the yr. and play for the big 12 championship, would like a NC but it will come in time, everything comes back around.

I hope that's the case, but with a defense that is so weak we have a hard road ahead.

 
Being pessimistic, I think we lose three more games in the regular season. MU, Texas, & either OSU or KU.

Then if we go to the CCG vs. OU. (anyone would lose to OU in the Big XII)

Then the bowl game is a toss up. W or L is YTBD.

This is not a very good outlook if we lose 2-3 more. I agree that is where we are headed and I thought we would be 9-3 and lose to OU and finish 9-4. That is still not very good especially if we then lose the bowl game.

After the last 2 weeks we could easily lose 3-4 more and not make the CCG. That would be a disaster. I repeat, "THANK GOODNESS DIRK KOETTER IS A MORON!"

 
The defense sucks, fair enough. I've got serious questions about the offense, too. Which quality opponent have they racked up yards on, other than against the USC scrubs in the 4th quarter?

Let's check our offense against Mizzoo, Texas, KU, heck even KSU.

I don't buy all this "but the offense is OK" b.s. Let's just cut the b.s. right now cause it's getting deep and I ain't got a pair of trusty waders.

Even though we have done it in rough fassion, our record is exactly where I predicted it would be at this juncture in the season. I thought we'd blow out Nevada, beat Wake by 14 or more, lose to USC but hoping we could hang with them at least 3 qtrs., and blow out Ball State. Like I said, we haven't come to the record I was predicting by how I thought but nonetheless we are 3-1. Before the year, I felt we'd lose to USC, Texas, Big 12 title game, and maybe the bowl game for either a 3 or 4 loss season. Now, I feel we'll drop at least 1 or 2 more giving us at the very least a 4 to 5 loss season.

It's funny people bring up the KU game. I'm in the camp that actually feels like KState is the best team in Kansas. I realize KU is on the road and KState is at home, but after watching the game last Saturday I don't know that being at home is that big of deal this year. Considering Gundy is on the verge of a mental breakdown, I don't think we lose 2 in a row to OSU. Gundy is a nutjob, and needs to get his sh#t straight before OSU can make any kind of run. Screaming and hollering throwing a temper tantrum in front of the media will not make your team better.

Mizzou will be a trackmeet. They can't stop anybody, and neither can we. Considering they get us on their homefield, I don't feel good about this game. Who knows, KU and KState could be trackmeets as well. Until our D shows that it can stop someone, we hang all the pressure on the offense to outscore everyone. At some juncture, it would seem possible the offense could stub their toe.

 
I think we will win pretty easily tomorrow. I have a feeling our defense is going to come out pissed off and wanting to prove something. We need to have a game like this before we play Missery. :bonez

 
I am no longer looking any further down the schedule then our next game. This is the only game we need to worry about until it is over then move on to the next. I hope the players feel the same way.
