There are movies from 10 years ago that would fit the category.

"Superbad"

The thing with Superbad, was that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (the writers) specifically wrote that movie based on their teenage years, and they commented that they wanted it to be like one of the raunchy teen comedy movies of the 1980s. I think that's why the movie was so popular with teenagers and adults when it was released 10 years ago.
