i would like to know how many combined years of nfl experience was featured in this game. ray lewis is still playing but most of nebraska's oline drafted most of the defense had a role in the nfl. it would be outlandish numbers im sure
The thing that warmed me the most while watching the end of this game was Brooke's face. He didn't look malicious, he didn't look pissed, and he didn't look frustrated.
He smiled each time Nebraska scored a touchdown and he wasn't in the game.
Watching that game all these years later is almost as fun as the first time. Seeing all the Miami players celebrating in the 1st half after every tackle and knowing they'd all be gasping for air in the 4th qtr was priceless. Also hearing the announcers basically handing the game to the 'Canes in the 1st half was great since I knew the outcome. And yes, a TON of NFL talent on both sides of the field in this one. All of those championship games in the 90's had vast amounts of NFL talent. The Tenn and Florida teams sent lots of kids to the pros too. Great games to watch!
