A internet petition/poll to UNL athletic department to make the Broken chair official

Topic says it all. For some reason I thought this trophy had been made official last year. But apparently not yet.

After some reading it seems the Minnie folks are all for it but there are some on our end still avoiding anything to do with the Pelini years.

While I doubt anything will come of this I figured lets do a poll (that's what we are good at after all)/petition to the AD to make our opinions on the matter known.

Let the chaos commence.

 
Is it too late to choose another trophy? I mean, Broken Chair? Really??

It is really the only game i still consider a trophy game. Id say scrap the heroes and freedom trophy and quit trying to force a rivalry there, and make the NU trophy for Northwestern

 
Why does it need to be "official". So they can stamp some corportate sponsor on it and destroy the only pure thing we got? no. leave it be. Coaches and players and fans recognize it. that's official enough. That's all that counts. it's fun. Leave it be fun.

Ugh. Dorothy Lynch already has that annoying bit that plays before every replay. Imagine what they'd do to the chair.
