A&M game

Back when we were AMC of Texas, it was the Agricultural and Mechanical COllege of Texas. When we changed our name to Texas A&M University, the A&M actually dropped their meaning.
So, technically, they don't stand for anything. But they USED to stand for Agricultural and Mechanical.
gotcha, i thought it was military because on TV you can always see a crapload of ROTC guys in their dress uniforms all over the place.

It HAD official meaning, then they dropped it because we are SO MUCH more than an Ag and MEchanical School now.

The ROTC guys are in our full-time Corps of Cadets. We wear our unis to every class and football game. We live together, eat meals together, PT together, and have 2 formations a day. A&M Produces more officers for the military than any other school except for the academies.
