a question regarding retaining Pelini

I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but I saw on another board that ADSE put feelers out for potential coaching candidates, but no one bit, thus we were stuck with Bo.

Does anyone (like da skers) have any insight on this.

We don't know.

Not to sound like a lamb lost in the woods, but I would like to think that they wouldn't do that, ie put out feelers. Maybe they maintain lists of coaches through a third party that might be contacted if certain circumstances played out, but I would like to think that they wait until a decision is almost concrete or just an administrative move, ie press conference, from being concrete before acting and actually making a concerted effort to find a new coach.
