Executive Director Phil Savage spent 20 years in the National Football League as a coach, scout, executive and general manager. Prior to the Combine, he will evaluate the Reese’s Senior Bowl practice sessions, position-by-position, for both the North and South squads.

Here is his analysis of the running backs and tight ends based on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday practices.

An instinctive runner with vision and the capacity to change speeds, Ameer earned MVP honors on gameday with his performance that included 113 total yards (73 rushing/40 receiving). He is a very savvy player with excellent hands and route running ability to win in space. Pass protection is the area where he must improve the most in the NFL.
