NU pretty firmly entrenched with Adidas, but Riley was a Nike guy. What brand will NU brand itself with ?

The NU AD just re-upped with Adidas last year, IIRC, for another five years.

If we go anywhere, though, it will probably be Under Armour, since we now have Maryland in the B1G, and there's been talk of other non-UA B1G schools going that direction to support a fellow institution...

I have always been a Nike guy but after seeing those Navy alternates and some other things UA is doing I would be all in for that switch to happen.

The shoe and approval contract is with the entire University and Athletic Department. It's not dependent on the coach.

The coach has 0 input on the apparel contracts. Addidas sucks when it comes to alt uni's but otherwise has been & continues to be very good to DONU. Last time Nike even looked at the NU apparel contract, they gave an insanely low offer. NU doesn't mesh as well with Nike's marketing scheme, imo...
