after 4 games, how many total wins will we have?

Best case scenario we come out of Columbus 6-2. I'd be thrilled if we came out 6-2 with the only loss here to Ohio State. 8 wins would be a very realistic possibility at that point.
Yep.  And, if we go into Columbs 6-1, it makes that game a lot more exciting than going in 4-3.

I said 8 at the start of the year.  Have stuck with 8 until Purdue.

I'm dropping to 7.  You can't win with poor special teams.  I think 7 is going to be tough.

I know it's sorry, but I just want these seniors to make a bowl.

IMO and the opinion of half or most of yall, the toughest challenges will be - Ohio State, USC, Indiana, and Iowa.  All road games and all are having pretty good seasons so far.

I feel like this is an 8-4 Husker team.  That could possibly go 10-2 if they don't choke in pressure games.

10-2 feels like a stretch. I can't see them taking three of four from that list, and Ohio State is as close to a guaranteed L as there is. We'd have to beat USC at USC, Indiana at Indiana, and Iowa at Iowa to accomplish that (assuming that we don't somehow pull off the biggest win for this program in the 21st century and beat Ohio State).

I say 9-3 is the ceiling. Losses to Ohio State and USC. Wins against Indiana and Iowa.

I feel ya.

But this is not the year to put USC on a pedestal.  I mean, even with a Heisman QB playing there the past few seasons, they still loss several ugly games each year.  That's a fact.

Funny how the polls have them ranked.... And ranked in the top 10-ish.  Must be a "TV viewership badge", like Colorado

We take one game at a time and we will be alright.  We got a veteran defense, some good talent on offense, and a pretty good QB.  In other words, don't count us out

So if I read this right, we have a good chance to beat UCLA, a coin flip against Wisconsin and should be expected to win one out of Indiana, USC, & Iowa.

So 7-8 wins total.

Here's Sagarin's latest rankings:

Nebraska - 28 (5-1)

Indiana - 25 (6-0)

Ohio State - 2 (5-0)

UCLA - 77 (1-4)

USC - 18 (3-2)

Wisconsin - 41 (3-2)

Iowa - 21 (3-2)

We're in the neighborhood of Indiana & Iowa, and sort of USC. Ohio State is a scary juggernaut we just need to escape with few injuries.

UCLA looks like a very winnable game, and Wisconsin is looking possible, too. Both games are at home.

FWIW, Rutgers is now at 43 on Sagarin's rankings, one spot below Illinois and two spots below Wisconsin.
