Alabama vs Oklahoma St

Here we go. Well my Husker friends as hard as it is for me to root for Bama, I am going to root for them in this game tomorrow. However I think Oklahoma St will win this one. As far as teams representing the SEC in bowl games. Not many of us have high hopes for the Low Tide Low. It will be fun to keep score with the Big 12 teams and SEC this bowl season.

What are your opinions on this game?

 
bama is a mess right now, and okie state is tougher than some people think as well. It doesnt look good for the tide in my opinion.

 
I'm just excited to see some Big XII play finally!

I have OSU winning it too. But I think both teams have had pretty much the same year. Losing to teams they should have lost to and to some they shouldn't have had to. Except, OSU beat us...so I put them slightly above Bama.

So I'm calling it a close game. Should be good though. I'm just mad it's in the afternoon because I'll probably only catch the tail end of it!

 
Go Cowboys - pound the Tide.

There has been so much national level debate about Alabama and the coaching situation that I think it would be hard for the Tide players to concentrate on the bowl game.

But then I remember how the NU players responded after the Solich firing.

Anyway - I always root for the old Big 8 in bowl games.

 
Well, the one thing that may help Alabama is the interim coach - Joe Kines. He's been in this position before. He was once the defensive coordinator for Arkansas (and he's a damn good one, by the way) when Frank Broyles fired a coach named Jack Crowe. Kines had to take over. After a couple of games, he brought in Danny Ford, who later became the head coach.

Anyway, Kines is an excellent motivator. He certainly isn't going to fix Alabama's offensive issues, but at the same time he won't do anything to limit the offensive coordinator.

I think Alabama's problems are too much for them to overcome - their offensive is awful. But it could be entertaining seeing the Alabama defense against the OSU offense.

 
Okie State 34-31 over Bama. Darnit! I wanted to see this game. I like Bama! I've even been on campus there.

 
:yeah I was just :asshat enough to pick aTm, KSU, and Missouri. Why in the HELL did I count on that crop of losers? At least the Big-XII is even up at 3-3 right now. Thank God for OSU, TTech, and Texas (yes, I did the homer thing and picked all Big XII teams in my pool :asshat )

Go OU and NU! I still have a shot to win!
