Special teams player of the week: Nebraska K-P Alex Henery, Jr., Omaha, Neb.
Henery made all five of his field goal attempts, the second-most in school history, in Nebraska’s 16-15 loss at Virginia Tech. His field goals were from 40, 27, 19, 38 and 38 yards. Henery recorded his fourth career game with at least four field goals while extending his streak of made field goals inside 50 yards to 19. He has connected on 6 of 7 field goals this season and hit 32-of-36 in his career. The junior specialist also punted six times for a 41.5-yard average, including a 76-yarder in the first quarter, which marked the fourth-longest punt in program history.
