all time passing leader

Taylor had 2654 yards last year.

So far this year he has 2273 to equal 4926 in his career.

Humm's all time record is 5035 yards....

Taylor averages 227/game...4 games left...He will finish with about 5800+ yards in his 2 year career at Nebraska!!

Didn't he tie the season record for touchdown passes yesterday also? I thought that 20 was the mark but I could be wrong.

Well Humm still has the record at 5035. Zac had 2653 yards in the air last season and has 2273 so far this year. So Zac needs 109 yards to tie Humm's record.

He could have that by the end of the first half on Saturday, but I see it falling sometime in the 3rd quarter since we will run a lot on Saturday.

He is going to have all the major passing records when the season is done, except of course the great interception mark of 19. But I guess that's a good thing.

yeah that one record will be the one that he dosent want. i hope that hes able to get that all-time passing record, i just wonder how many yards he would have if he played his full career at nebraska

Great article on Zac courtesy of the OWH

LINCOLN - As Zac Taylor prepares to break the most high-profile passing record in Nebraska football history, one of his biggest fans might be the former Husker quarterback he knocks from No. 1.

He's put up some good numbers in his career.

As long as we continue to have a passing attack, say for the next 10-15 years, I'm sure records for passing and recieving will change quite a bit.
