Already on display

A friend of mine recently took the dime tour in Ann Arbor and said they have a display of helmets, one for each of the Big 10 schools. Nebraska is already represented amoung those helmets. We are not even an official member and Michigan is already giving us some respect. Man, it's good to be wanted.

 
that is pretty cool...especially considering our national championship "argument" with them.

I tell ya, these guys have class. I went to the Alamobowl a few years ago, the one with the crazy finish. An enduring memory is the Michigan marching band marching up the end zone where all the Husker fans were (bought my tickets through the university), and playing a tribute to NU and their fans. Very classy. If the whole conference is like that, then this is where NU belongs and will fit right in.

 
Thats pretty neat. It is definately going to be a bitter sweet future with Michigan (bitter for them and sweet for us of course). We did technically join the big ten effective July 1st, just the athletics are 2011.
