Am I the only one who notices we played Crick at DE.....

I havent had a chance to rewatch the game yet, but i noticed a lot of plays, we had T. Moore at DT and Crick at DE. What are your thought about this?

In the first half we played a strange 5 man front with Meridith, Steinkhuler, Moore, Crick, and Martin. This may have looked like Crick was at DE, but I wouldn't say he was as someone else was always outside of him. I don't think I saw that front at all in second half, but I think Crick was lined up a DE about 4 or 5 times in second half.

 
Yeah it looked like they came out playing basically a 5-2 with compton and david as linebackers and meredith and martin as stand up ends so they essentially had 3 d tackles. I think it worked pretty well stopping the running game actually. Hall didnt do anything and the other back had really just that one big run which was a blown play by andrew green. Obviously it didnt stop miller from running around but I don't think it was designed to stop that and I think he did most of his damage on 3rd down when we had switched back to a nickel or standard 4-3.
