Amigos vs Taco Johns

Amigo's has the buffet of condiments! Ranch, nacho cheese, like 4 kinds of salsa, mmmmmm..........

I would pose the question which is harder to eat cold the morning after....TJ's or Amigos? They both solidify into bricks.

I agree, the Nebraska burrito is to die for. Deleon's beats them both.

PS if I had to chose I'd go with TJ because I've got food poisoning from two different Lincoln Amigos.

I hear ya!! There is a large Hispanic population in my area which has bred many true Mexican food venues. Once you have eaten at these places, it makes TJs and Amigos seem like McDonalds. But if I were forced to choose between the two......

Taco Johns!!!! Meat and Potato Burrito!! Their potato Ole's are great as well.....

 
I would like to take an Amigo's softshell taco the morning after and shoot it out of a cannon (a taco sized cannon) to see how far it would fly and how much destruction it would inflict. My guess is that it would leave a crater.

When I am back in Lincoln, my boys prefer to eat at Amigos...so that's where Dad only knows.

I do like Chipotle', but to go that route, I prefer Panchero's (except for the frequent visits to the latrine that follow. In graduate school, we named this affliction "Panchero Gut").
