An intriguing coaching milestone for Bo yesterday

Nexus

All-American
His 1st game as interim head coach at Nebraska came against Michigan State in the 2003 Alamo Bowl where he would win 17-3.

Fast forward to 2011, he coached in his 50th game as head coach at Nebraska against Michigan State and wins 24-3.

It was pointed out on Twitter yesterday (don't remember who posted it?) that the last time the Spartans were held to 3 points was in 2003 in the Alamo Bowl against Nebraska.

Congrats, Bo on game #50!!

37-13 = 74%

Was actually the Alamo Bowl. And I also learned yesterday courtesy of ESPN that Nebraska has not been to a BCS bowl since the 2001 Fiesta Bowl?? I also heard a couple weeks ago on ESPN that Dominic Whaley of OU is Oklahoma's best walkon since IM Hipp. Yes that is what was said by an ESPN commentator during the OU Texas game on ESPN radio. Why do they just spew crap our of their throats like that.
