I guess i should of expected this. Though i tried not to think about it. The viewing of other message boards and listening to radio programs. The HATE is spewing out of every orifice of the rest of the big 12 north teams this evening. We are now more hated then Alabama, OhioState, Oreagon, We are loathed buy every school remaining in the big 12. Every team in the big 12 now roots for us to lose because they dont want us to win. We need to use this, because honestly were not going to win anymore hearts the rest in the big 12.

 
Well, a fair number of teams will get their shot at us this season. I say bring it. If we keep playing the way we played against Washington and KSU, and someone can take us, I'll be surprised and impressed. But grats to them if they can, because that will be a hell of a game.

And what's also funny is that if the Big 10 came knocking on any one of their doors, they would have left, too (except maybe the Texas schools for various reasons). The fans may like to comfort themselves that their school wouldn't have, but believe me, they would have without a second thought.

 
They get that better then thou attitude because they decided to stay. Or they didnt have a choice to stay. Either way, i think this is going to be a different season thats for sure.

 
Hate often stems from jealousy. It's been well over 10 years since we've been hated. It's the ultimate compliment.

 
it now appears, especially with Texas going to hell this year, that the Big 12 losing NU will diminish the stature of the division.......oh well, Texas wanted to control all the revenue, so they can play all the pansies left in the league and try to make a statement like Boise State.....good luck with that horns!

 
I was thinking along the same lines as Hunter94. I know Texas is trying to beef up their schedual, the next few years, but that might just jump up and bite them in their arses. Lose a couple of them and with a watered down conference and they will be playing in a lot of lower tier bowls. Couldn't happen to a better greedier, egotistical, controlling bunch.

Just like Coach Bo would like, us vs them mentality. KStaters told me that they think Texas will bail on them inside of 6 years and they will be stuck holding the bag with Kansas and Iowa State. I told them they should have shown a little more Big 8 love during some crucial votes that came about and they should not have gotten caught up with the other schools trying to stick it to us for our success during our championship years. They put their heads down in shame for they knew it to be true.

This is almost identical to what happened to the SWAC. Texas ran off Arkansas then took their patsies to the big 12. Houston, SMU, TCU, and Rice get screwed and stuck in lesser confrences. Texas has made a bad habbit of destroying confrences and pushing the blame on someone else.

Iget very mad just thinking about it, saturday will be a sweet, sweet victory.
